Senior Session with Melissa
Part one of two shoots from out in Duvall a couple weeks ago. Melissa is heading in to her senior year and her family is moving overseas – and she is definitely excited at the opportunity. We did the shoot at a farm owned by one of the long time residents and we made sure to get a couple shots with the jersey cows in the background, as it added to the charm of the place. Photos of her friend Ashley are forthcoming.
E-Session with Sarah and Aaron
We shot Sarah and Aaron’s engagement session up at Lake Padden in Bellingham, WA. It had been a while since I’d been to the park, but I spent a decent amount of time here as a kid, as my uncle lives right across the street. We lucked out with the weather as it had been raining most of the week, but it ended up being a beautiful partly sunny evening.
Megan and Gordy – Session in Port Townsend
I met up with Meg and Gordy in Port Townsend about a month ago. It was Gordy’s birthday, and he had no idea that he was being brought to Washington from Idaho – and for a photo shoot to boot! All in all he was a good sport and we had a great time hanging out and getting some great photos. I’m going to be seeing them a few more times over the summer, and I’ll be able to get some photos of G’s new hair, and the new addition to their family – stay tuned for more photos!
Courtnet and Kyle E-Session

We shot Courtney and Kyles engagement session down in South Prairie, WA. Gorgeous day, and lots of beautiful locations to shoot. Kyle is a firefighter, so we started off at the station, and we finished up at his parents farm – note the vague imitation of a classic Americana portrait.

M for maternity. Rachel and Tim are expecting their first little one in the not too distant future so we took advantage of the nice weather to get out to Lake Wilderness, and the MBP Studio, for their maternity session.

E-Session with Ashley and Kelly
We shot Ashley and Kellys Engagement Session at the University of Washington and over on Queen Anne hill at Kerry Park, where they were engaged. It was a perfect overcast day, and it seemed liked everyone and their brother was taking pictures in the Quad at the U – especially since the Cherry Blossom trees had bloomed so early. Looking forward to their wedding later this year!

We shot Alex’s senior photos at Lake Wilderness Golf Course here in Maple Valley. It turned out to be the perfect day, as the rain stopped just as we headed to the course. Alex is currently a senior at Tahoma High School, and plays on the varsity golf team.

Here’s another senior session from up at Gasworks park in Seattle. Ethan is currently a senior at Gig Harbor High School. We also made a quick detour on the way home at the trestle in Maple Valley.
Anna Coogan CD Release Party for “The Nocturnal Among Us”
Anna kicked off her tour with a packed house CD release party at Fremont Abby here in Seattle. the band sounded amazing and I don’t think I’ve ever seen her have so much fun on stage. If you get a chance, definitely get out to one of her shows when she swings through your area. And if you can’t make a show, pick up the CD – heck, pick up some for your friends and family, too. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Support your local songwriters!
