Valentines Day Wedding in the Arboretum
I kicked off the 2010 wedding season with William and Shiho. They are friends of a good friend of mine, and at the last minute their photographer backed out – so I spent a couple of hours on Valentines day shooting their beautiful ceremony at a gazebo overlooking part of the Arboretum here in Seattle.
It was an intimate ceremony with just a few guests, and we lucked out with the weather – it was gorgeous as we arrived…but then it rained cats and dogs during the actual ceremony – at which time we acquired a few more “guests” as passersby came in out of the downpour. Luckily the rain moved on after the ceremony was over and we all made it back to our vehicles nice and dry.
